Hot Rods by definition "...are typically pre-64 American cars with large engines modified for linear speed". This is a very generic definition for what some people think of as a way of life. Hot Rods are part of every true gearhead's blood...the noise from headers rumbling, the smell from the exhaust, the bitchin' rake that makes you know this guy means business.

You know what I'm talking about.

Kustoms
Kustoms, notice the spelling with a "K"? Originally spelled this way by George Barris (one of the pioneer's for this style car)for his car club...The Kustoms. Now, typically 50's and 60's cars customized in a way that reflects the styling trends of that era. Also referred to as Leadsleds or simply,
"Sleds"
, these cars were originally heavily modified using lead.

American  MUSCLE
American Muscle...Detroit's answer to the Hot Rod.
Some argue that the first true muscle car was the 1949 Olds Rocket 88, or some say it was the 1955 Chrysler 300, and some believe it to be the brainchild of John Delorean...the 1964 GTO. Muscle cars are typically post 64 mid-sized cars built for straight line performance. Regardless of your beliefs...these factory born and sometimes garage built 1/4 mile terrors are feared by some, but loved by all.
