Uno, dos, one, two, tres, quatro
Matty told Hatty about a thing she saw.
Had two big horns and a wooly jaw.
Wooly bully, wooly bully.
Wooly bully, wooly bully, wooly bully.
Hatty told Matty, "Let's don't take no chance.
Let's not be L-seven, come and learn to dance."
Wooly bully, wooly bully
Wooly bully, wooly bully, wooly bully.
Matty told Hatty, "That's the thing to do.
Get you someone really to pull the wool with you."
Wooly bully, wooly bully.
Wooly bully, wooly bully, wooly bully.

I know you have heard the song...       but do you know the words?
Wooly Bully
Domingo Samudio (Sam the Sham)
Sam the Sham and The Pharaohs
Wooly Bully has to be my all time favorite 60's tune. Being born the same year the song was released (1965) I can honestly say I grew up with Wooly Bully.
Sam the Sham and The Pharaohs was a band that had it's roots in Dallas, Texas. Wooly Bully sold over 3 million copies making Sam The Sham and The Pharaohs one of the top groups in '65. Wooly Bully reached a top position on Billboard of #2 and remained on the charts for 18 weeks.
The following year (1966), they released another smash, "Little Red Riding Hood". LRRH sold over 1 million copies and also reached #2 on Billboard, staying on the charts for 14 weeks.
The band had many other songs to make it on the charts, Ju Ju Hand, I'm In With The Out Croud, and Hair On My Chinny Chin Chin just to name a few.
